A while back Zoltar, Dee Dee, Stephan and I created Music For a Purpose.org as a concert production and event promotion company that raises funds for regional and national charities. You may recall we did the Music For Myanmar concert for the Burmese cyclone victoms. Funds from the seven hour concert went to American Red Cross International Disaster Relief. Now we are doing the 2008 CAN JAM to benefite the Capital Area Food Bank (read details here) August 23rd at Saphire Cafe in Bethesda Maryland. The thirteen hour concert starts at noon and features everyone from Shane Himes to Luke Brindley to Steve Palmer Band Zoltar spinning great dance music starting at 9PM.
