Music For Myanmar Concert May 18 at Rock and Roll Hotel

Seven hours of acoustic and full band performances, a silent auction featuring limited edition art by “artist to the stars” Bill Rock, sport celebrities and autograph signing as well as authentic Burmese food and DJ Zoltar from XM and Worldspace Satellite Radio will spin music between sets. Initial performers who have signed include Niki Barr, Shane Hines, Olivia and the Housemates, Jim Dugan, Prozakistan, The Opposite Sex, Spencer Bates, Zoltar and KGB. The “Music for Myanmar” concert begins at 6 PM ET and UPop 29, the global pop music channel will broadcast live via XM Satellite Radio in America and worldwide via WorldSpace Satellite Radio, enabling the event to be heard across the planet, including the regions affected by cyclone Nargis.
