
With ten high energy, talented and gorgeous Japanese girls as its members, PISTOL VALVE was created in Tokyo in October 2005. It is a surprising band, not because of the youth and clothing style and talent of the musicians, but because of their capacity for creating a unique fusion of rock, jazz and hip-hop.
The band debuted on Japanese TV with an appearance in a broadcast called The Best House 1-2-3 on FujiTV, where they created an immediate craze. The day after, "PISTOL VALVE" became the fourth most searched topic on Yahoo!Japan's search engine. The band kept on appearing on TV broadcasts, creating a strong and lasting presence in Japanese media. Now one of the most searched J-Pop bands on earth, their dazzling success is reinforced by frequent live, unexpected street gigs, in Tokyo,new York and Austin Texas!
In 2007, the band held its first concert in the US, invading the international music scene. They toured through New-York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Texas and Los Angeles, where the listeners were surprised by their eccentric clothes and catchy tunes.
After their successful performances, PISTOL VALVE came back to Tokyo, where they were heavily solicited. They signed a contract and released Tsunamic Girls From Tokyo, their first album.
In 2008, the French company J-Music Live organized their European tour that culminated in their most memorable WorldSpace Session@ Abbey Road.
